Mifgash Ha'Neviim – restaurant

A falafel counter in Haifa's Hadar that has been frying for the same regulars for over twenty years. The order is simple and it is the whole point: a pita of hot falafel, or shawarma, built at the counter with chips if you want them. Customers come back to the same two observations — everything is fresh, and the owner runs the place with a warmth that has outlasted most of the street around him. Open early, seven days. No frills, no menu to study, and no need for one.
