MISS SAIGON – Restaurant

A family Vietnamese kitchen on SW 160th Street, run by the Nguyen family, who arrived in the US in 1975 and first opened a Miss Saigon in Coral Gables in 1997. The broth is the reason to come: brisket pho that regulars single out, backed by gỏi cuốn fresh rolls, gỏi đu đủ papaya salad, a loaded đặc biệt bánh mì, fried rice and caramel ginger chicken. Taro boba milk tea handles dessert. The room is small and the welcome is personal - diners keep mentioning how the owners treat them. Closed Wednesdays; worth planning around.
