NOBLE RICE – Restaurant
An expansion of the original Hyde Park restaurant - whose old room became the omakase counter Koya in 2020 - Noble Rice now works out of Channelside Drive with a lively, distinctly un-austere take on modern Japanese. There is an omakase seat if you want it, but the pull is the a la carte: king salmon nigiri from New Zealand, hamachi and yellowtail with green onion, cured wagyu on crispy rice, the negi toro roll, karaage and crispy pork belly, ramen and skewers. Whisky and sake run deep. Diners consistently say it earns the price.
