Cafe Nono sits on HaTachana in Binyamina, directly opposite the train station, which makes it the first and last stop of a lot of commutes. It is a specialty-coffee place first: careful espresso, and a counter of pastries baked fresh, maritozzi among them, plus salads, sandwiches and cookies made by hand. Hours are short and honest — early opening, early close, with a half-day Friday and Saturday mornings. What people mention again and again is the welcome as much as the cup. A small place that behaves like a local institution.
