Kapao bills itself as Israel's first kosher Thai restaurant, and the Beit Shemesh branch cooks strictly to that brief — traditional Thai preparations rather than a hedged local version of them. Curries, stir-fries and the noodle canon come alongside a full kosher sushi bar, which is an unusual pairing done properly. Kashrut is badatz. There is a dining room, table booking, delivery and pickup. For a town where kosher Thai is otherwise a contradiction in terms, it is the whole point.
