Upstairs at the Sea Mall in Ashdod, with the beach laid out through the windows — the view is the reason to book the top floor. Pri Mor Ba'ir runs from breakfast through lunch and into dinner, a kosher cafe-restaurant that also takes birthdays and private events. Plates come large and the staff are unfailingly polite; diners are franker about the prices and say the kitchen can be uneven from visit to visit. Come for the sea and the morning light, and order simply.
