Schokolade & Espresso Bar – coffee_shop

The Schokolade & Espresso Bar belongs to H. Schwarzenbach on Munstergasse, a Zurich coffee roastery and delicatessen trading since 1864, and it is really two neighbouring shopfronts - one for chocolate, one for spices - with an espresso bar in the middle. More than 350 handmade chocolate specialities line the shelves, Swiss and otherwise, and while you browse you can drink a strong spiced coffee, a nutty cappuccino or any of a long list of drinking chocolates. Closed Sundays. Old Zurich in one room, and the hot chocolate is the reason to stay.
