Shawarma Shimoni made its name along the Rishon LeZion-Ashdod corridor and brought it to Yavne: turkey, chicken and beef turning on the spit, carved into pita, rolled into laffa, packed into a baguette, or laid across a plate with salads and chips. Delivery and takeaway run alongside the counter. The appeal is uncomplicated - a large portion, a fair price, and meat that has spent enough time on the fire. Not a place for lingering. A place for eating.
