Clifton Avenue's kosher Chinese kitchen keeps Lakewood fed to eleven on weeknights and one in the morning at weekends. The menu goes deep: General Tso's chicken, sesame and Hunan, kong po beef ding, ma po tofu, husband-and-wife beef, happy family, moo shu, fung wong gai, honan chicken. Egg rolls come chicken, beef, vegetable or pastrami. There are pan-seared and steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, hot poppers, ramen and udon bowls, plus a full gluten-free section. Cholent and kugel sit beside the chow fun. Lunch specials, combo platters and nine-by-thirteen catering trays feed the yeshivas. No MSG anywhere. Chinese cooking, entirely kosher.
