Wow Steakhouse does Puerto Rican cooking in Cape Coral with a full bar and music that gives the room a Miami tilt. Mofongo is the reason to come — including a version stuffed with octopus — backed by alcapurrias, sorullitos, tostones, maduros, empanadas, fried fish, chicken in garlic sauce, arroz con gandules and, true to the name, steak. The seasoning is what diners keep returning to: dishes arrive exactly as ordered and taste like they were cooked by someone from the island. Service earns warm praise, over the phone as well as at the table. Flavour-forward, priced to build regulars.
