The Merrick Park branch of Yard House, where the draft wall is the first thing you notice — dozens of taps running from local IPAs to imports, poured into the half-yard glasses the brand is named for. The menu is broad by design: poke nachos, blackened ahi sashimi, parmesan truffle fries, lobster garlic noodles, carne asada street tacos, burgers and a 20oz ribeye, finished with the Brookie. Happy hour is the value play and gets busy accordingly. Guests find the room dark and loud in the good way, and the staff good with big groups.
