ABC PIZZA HOUSE INTERNATIONAL – Restaurant

A neighborhood pizza house on West Hillsborough Avenue that has been feeding Tampa since February 1976, with recipes handed down through the family. The kitchen leans Greek as much as Italian: gyro, Cuban, Mediterranean and seafood pizzas share the board with white pies and a meat lover's special. Grinders come stacked with meatballs, eggplant parmesan, steak or chicken fajita. Dinners run to manicotti, stuffed shells, eggplant rollatini, seafood alfredo, Greek chicken and gyro platters, and the Greek salad arrives with potato salad underneath. Baklava, rice pudding, flan, cannoli and tres leches finish the meal. Open daily from eleven until ten.
