ASIAN FUSION CUISINE – Restaurant

A small daytime counter on West Gandy, open half past ten until seven and closed on Sundays. The Asian side is the draw: pad thai, Lao-style green papaya salad, Thai soups and fried rice, banh mi, and a sushi roll that changes daily, with Thai iced tea and Thai ice cream to finish. Lunch combination plates keep the midday queue moving along. The same kitchen also turns out pitas, wraps and chopped salads and blends real-fruit smoothies, which makes it an unusually flexible stop for an office lunch run. Cheap, quick, hard to categorise. That mix is exactly the appeal.
