Bee Cafe hides behind a laundromat on 39th Avenue in Woodside, which is the first thing everybody mentions and the last thing that matters once you are through the door. The room is small and carefully decorated, with a planted garden terrace out the back. Coffee and bubble tea share the counter with draft beer, and the kitchen sends out avocado toast, the Bee Breakfast Sandwich, a grilled chicken panini, crispy fish sandwich, fish and chips, chicken popcorn, kimchi fries, pork buns and an Impossible-patty option. Open from eight until eight, seven days. Regulars praise the welcome and the portions.
