Banana Loti runs the Thai street-dessert playbook on Ibn Gvirol in Tel Aviv: a thin roti pancake griddled to order, folded around banana and whatever else you want, cut into squares and handed over hot. There are roti pizzas too, plus shakes, cold drinks and cocktails once the evening properly starts. Every dough here is vegan and the spreads include vegan Nutella and Lotus, which quietly makes it one of the easier dessert stops in the city for anyone avoiding dairy. Doors open at eight in the evening and stay open until four. Late-night sugar, handled properly.
