Café CUCU – restaurant

Beneath the Cucu boutique hotel on Dizengoff Square, Cafe Cucu is La Shuk group's Tel Aviv brasserie, open from nine in the morning until nearly midnight, seven days a week. Brunch is where it shows its hand: avocado on spelt bread with roasted nuts and confit cherry tomato cream, a corned beef croissant with poached egg, spinach and hollandaise, crispy polenta with mushrooms and beetroot, kale salad with pistachios and feta, shakshuka with challah and tahini, cacio e pepe, French toast with salted caramel. Evenings bring an eclectic spread of meat, fish, seafood and cheese. Weekday early-evening happy hour too.
