Borjomi Plato Cafe&Bar – bar_and_grill

Ride the Borjomi cable car to the top of the plateau and Plato is waiting, a family-run Georgian cafe and bar on Sadheri Street near the Prometheus monument, with the gorge falling away below. The veranda is the seat everyone wants; a winter hall with a fireplace takes over when the weather turns. The kitchen cooks the classics properly: khachapuri made with homemade cheese, khinkali, chicken and pork kebabs off the grill, kharcho, and a plain tomato and cucumber salad. Dessert is an apple pie made with cottage cheese, apple, pear and walnuts. Portions run generous throughout. Open every day.
