Café Iggy – restaurant

A loft-style room on Robakidze Street with a summer veranda that looks out over the Kura and the wooded ridges above Borjomi. The kitchen works both Georgian and European sides: khinkali, including small ones in mushroom sauce, a pkhali board, khachapuri, local trout wrapped in grape leaves, fish under pomegranate sauce, pork ribs, Greek salad and pizza. Homemade lemonade, fruit tea, Georgian wine and properly made coffee fill out the list. Roughly thirty seats inside, about as many outside. Staff switch between Georgian, Russian and English without fuss. Doors open late morning and stay open until eleven, midnight on Saturdays.
