Busi Ron holds the spot where HaTikva Street opens into the market, run by the Busi family and one of two Busi grills in the neighbourhood. The order barely changes: skewers off the coals, kebab, Yemenite soup, lentil soup, and house salads that land on the table before you have decided anything. It is a market restaurant in the proper sense, fast and without ceremony, the meat handled by people who have been doing it for decades. Diners come for the grill and the atmosphere in roughly equal measure. Old Tel Aviv, still cooking.
