Café Bar Tokio – cafeteria

Avenida de Figueroa 6, just a step from the old town, and the thing to order is the sandwich that carries the bar's own name. Café Bar Tokio has been trading since 2002: breakfasts early, then bocadillos, hamburgers, sandwiches, platos combinados, paella, pasta and a long list of raciones — zamburiñas, langostinos, anchoas, empanada and ensaladilla among the ones the house is best known for. Twenty-four tables inside, a terrace outside, no reservations taken. Food goes out to order or travels home with you. There is Wi-Fi and step-free access. The service draws praise as reliably as the plates do.
