Cafe Cafe – cafe

Cafe Cafe has been a fixture of Israeli high streets since 2001, and Haifa carries several of its branches, from Grand Kanyon and Lev HaMifratz to the Dado Beach promenade. The format is a sit-down dairy cafe rather than a coffee counter: full meals, long work meetings, unhurried afternoons. The chain menu runs to house shakshuka, eggs benedict on brioche, a smoked salmon bagel, croque madame, taboon focaccia with tomato salsa, cheese arancini, halloumi and Balkan salads, pastas, margherita and truffle pizzas, a baked New York cheesecake. There is a children's menu. Familiar and consistent, which is exactly the appeal.
