CEIDA CAFETERIA – Restaurant

The lights go on at five in the morning on NW 27th Avenue, and Ceida Cafeteria runs straight through to early evening — a Miami Gardens counter in the classic mould. Breakfast is the anchor: cafe con leche, Cuban toast, a two-egg omelette sandwich, avocado toast with tomato and feta, and a plate of eggs, hash browns and golden toast. Later come Cuban and midnight sandwiches, a croqueta sandwich built on Cuban bread, minuta de pescado, steak and pork sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Papa rellena, tequenos and pan de bono handle the hours in between. Fast, cheap, and reliably early.
