Galaxy Diner – diner

A Hell's Kitchen diner on Ninth Avenue at 46th, open eight in the morning to ten at night, seven days a week — the kind of place theater people slip into between shows. Burgers are what it is known for; the chicken parmigiana comes out with salad and garlic bread, and the menu runs on well past that. Booths, coffee, no pretense. A neighborhood mainstay doing exactly what a diner should.
