Mantra sets out to be Indian fine dining in the truest sense, and on Pines Boulevard it largely gets there: a full-service room run by the team behind the pioneering Florida restaurant Woodlands. The kitchen works across street-style chaats, tandoor-cooked plates, slow-built curries and biryani, with desserts and a bar list to follow, and it does catering and takeaway on the side. It has had a turn on PBS's Check, Please! South Florida with Michelle Bernstein. Dressed-up Indian cooking on the west side of Broward.
