NORMANDIE LOUNGE – Restaurant

The Normandie sits right on the Gulf side of Sanibel at West Wind Island Resort, and it is open to anyone who turns up, not just guests. Mornings bring eggs benedict, omelets and pancakes with the water a few steps away; lunch is burgers, wraps, baskets and salads; dinner turns towards the island's seafood, with grouper and crab-stuffed snapper among the plates people order. The Upper Deck pool bar handles cocktails and lighter bites upstairs. Breakfast through dinner, seven days. Sit outside — that is the whole point.
