Follow the smoke to the Mivne Gan Shmuel complex, where Uncle Sam's runs a delitruck on the simplest barbecue logic there is: point at the cut you want, pay by weight, eat it hot. The board rotates through entrecote, picanha, beef fillet, lamb spare ribs, pulled asado, chorizo and smoked chicken, with the sides thrown in at no extra charge. Diners consistently talk up the generosity of it, and meat that tastes of real smoke rather than sauce. The beef is kosher, though the truck itself carries no certificate. Texas swagger, no tablecloth required.
