Ulele occupies the old Water Works building on the Tampa Riverwalk, and its barbacoa grill sets the tone: Florida's land and water, cooked over fire. Start with alligator hush puppies and the charbroiled oysters that carry the house name, then move to the crackling pork shank or Barry's tomahawk pork chop. Seafood leans local, and dessert means the Key West key lime stack or pineapple upside-down bread pudding. There is a brewery on site.
