The sign still says Bonjour because that is what Lior's father called it, and in Kiryat Aryeh nobody sees a reason to change it. What Lior sells is a baguette, filled to order: seasoned chicken patties, kubbeh, fresh schnitzel, vegetable patties, shakshuka, sauce if you want it, halves combined if you cannot choose. The place is cramped and improvised with almost nowhere to sit, so most of it goes out the door. Regulars barely have to order. Prices have stayed stubbornly low while everything else has not. Home cooking, at a counter.
