Café Bar Orpheus – bar

Out on Avenida de Vilagarcía, well away from the cathedral crush, Orpheus works as a proper neighbourhood café-bar. Coffees, soft drinks, wine and beer over the counter; breakfasts to start the day; then bocadillos, hamburgers, sandwiches, embutidos, tapas and a rotating spread of raciones. Eight tables seat forty, there is a terrace for when the Galician weather cooperates, and the kitchen will cook to order or box it all up to take away. Wi-Fi, step-free access and cards accepted; Sunday is the rest day. Nothing here is trying to impress a tourist, which is exactly the appeal of the place.
