Café Nona – cafe

Twenty-six years in on Ibn Gvirol and still open around the clock, seven days a week, which in Tel Aviv makes it less a cafe than a fixed point. Soft light, unobtrusive music, laptops beside long lunches. The brunch card leans on classics with small adjustments: an egg salad bagel with fried onion, rocket and cornichons, sourdough avocado bruschetta under a soft egg, a four-cheese grill cheese on brioche, eggs benedict with smoked salmon and chard. The Nona schnitzel comes with buttery mash and coleslaw. There is a separate vegan menu, plus cocktails and a dessert list worth staying for.
