קפה לורן – cafe

Cafe Loren opens on Sokolov in Ramat HaSharon before half past six, which is when the neighbourhood's early risers start arriving. It is a homey, small-scale place rather than a designed one: coffee, sandwiches and a proper brunch through the morning, shakshuka among the dishes it is named for, and wine and cocktails once the day loosens up. Orders go out for delivery, and staff will walk them to the car. Locals treat it as an extension of the street. Nothing showy, and it does not need to be.
