HaTaco is a hatch on HaShomer Street, right where the lane meets the Carmel Market, with the loose feel of a food truck that stopped moving. The menu is two tacos long - one meat, one bean - and that is the whole proposition. Ordering it loaded with everything is the local convention. It turns up regularly in city guides to the taco scene, and market regulars talk about it as one of the better single bites in the shuk. Tiny, focused, and worth the detour.
