Cozy Cafe – cafe

An East Village hookah lounge on East First Street that runs late, past midnight midweek and well into the small hours at weekends, Cozy Cafe pairs dozens of shisha blends with a Middle Eastern mezze list. Humus arrives plain or under grilled chicken, alongside babaganush, tzatziki, spinach dip, eggplant salad and a feta spread; the Cozy mixed appetizer gathers several at once. Grilled chicken wraps, paninis, quesadillas, wings and Greek or Caesar salads follow. Baklava, kataifi and a fruit platter finish it off. Live music and belly dancing turn up regularly, and the patio fills up in the warm weather.
