La Parisienne – cafe
A French cafe on Maiden Lane, steps from the World Trade Center, opened in 2017 by Julie and Adrian Bruyere after they cut their teeth in New York's French kitchens. Mornings are viennoiserie and coffee, midday is brunch, and from four the room turns into a wine bar with French tapas and a list drawn from France and the rest of Europe. Pastries are baked daily. Upstairs, LP Upstairs is a loft space for private events. Understated, genuinely French, and a rare unhurried corner of the Financial District.
