Black Fox Coffee – cafe

A New York specialty coffee company trading since 2016, and one of the city's few multi-roasters: rather than roasting only its own beans, it curates and pours coffee from leading roasters worldwide. The cafes are designed in homage to the European espresso bar and set up as neighbourhood meeting places, built around conversation across the counter. Order a red eye, an espresso tonic finished with lemon bitters, or iced matcha from Mount Fuji cut with house-made almond, macadamia and hazelnut milk. Breakfast means B.E.C. and S.E.C. sandwiches on brioche, overnight oats, almond croissants and banana bread. Several small Manhattan locations.
