A local Italian kitchen in Ramat Yishai where the pizza list is longer and stranger than a village pizzeria has any right to be. Alongside the plain red Margherita sit the Tzoaniya with spinach, zucchini, broccoli and oven-roast beetroot in garlic confit; a caramelised one on rose sauce with roast sweet potato and ricotta; and a portobello ragu finished with truffle oil. Pasta is made by hand, and there are salads, risotto, calzone, sandwiches and soups in winter. Open Sunday to Thursday and again on Saturday, midday to eleven. Their own line says it best: a place of food and people.
