Nahalal, and the farm is attached: the beef comes off the family's own land, where they have been raising cattle for close to a century. Tamerlin puts that provenance straight on the plate - tartare and carpaccio to open, then arayes, souvlaki, a smoked meat sandwich, and cuts sold by weight, ribeye and New York strip, lamb chops and lamb skewers over the coals. A hundred seats inside, the Jezreel Valley through the windows, a deli counter along one wall. Closed Friday, open Saturday. Farm to table, minus the marketing.
