Open from the first coffee of the morning until well past midnight, Shtampper has been feeding Even Yehuda since 1998, with a sister branch on Shtampfer Street in Netanya. The Founders Street room is all warm wood and easy noise, a place families claim at lunch and friends take over after dark. The kitchen ranges wide: two eggs any way you like them, eggs on a toasted bagel with pesto and mushroom cream, bagels and sandwiches, Asian stir-fries finished with coconut cream, desserts. Regulars talk about the music and the feeling of a room that already knows them. Twenty-five years in, still the neighbourhood's living room.
