"סקוצמן" The Scotsman (Dary More) – coffee_shop

The Scotsman has been on Independence Square in Netanya since 1986, these days facing the interactive fountain on the pedestrian mall with the seafront a short walk downhill. It works as cafe, bar and restaurant in turn, opening early enough for a long breakfast and staying on through the evening. The kitchen is Mediterranean with a strong Italian streak: grilled meats and fresh fish, seafood, pizzas and pasta. Diners tend to describe it the same way, a reliable spot with a good terrace rather than a special occasion. Nearly four decades in one square counts for something.
