Zet Zaton – Restaurant

Arab-Galilean home cooking on Sirkin Street in Haifa, from the same hands as Baranda in the Talpiot market. The table fills before the mains arrive: a spread of salads regulars order by the tray for family occasions, eggplant, okra, olives. There is a breakfast service and a properly worked-out vegan section rather than an afterthought. The Galilean meal for two is the way in if you want the full range, and it is not a small order. What comes up again and again is the sheer volume of food relative to the price, and staff who are easy to deal with. Generous by design.
