A kosher boulangerie-patisserie cafe in Merkaz Ziv, Neve Shaanan, where breads and pastries are baked on site by an Italian slow method all day. The dairy menu runs from single and shared breakfast boards, labneh with olive oil and zaatar, eggplant in tahini, silan and peanut tahini, to shakshuka in three versions, brioche florentine with poached eggs, artichoke risotto, torn pasta with chestnuts and truffle, sabich sandwiches and a vegan smash burger. Gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan cooking gets real attention here. Cakes and cookies fill the deli case, and the room seats groups of eighty. Doors open at eight daily.
