Kiss חיפה – Restaurant

Kiss does American diner food with a vintage swagger, and the Haifa branch runs the same playbook as the rest of the small Israeli chain. Burgers are the centre of gravity — the Original, a butter burger, a double smash, a pimento cheeseburger — backed by fried chicken done crispy or Korean-style, a Philly cheesesteak and a vegetarian patty. Open with wings in garlic, buffalo or Korean sauce, fried pickles or cheddar fingers; close with chocolate or Lotus cheesecake mousse. Beer and cocktails behind the bar. Nostalgia, handled with a properly hot griddle.
