פאן מסעדה תאילנדית – Restaurant

Pan came to Israel from Udon Tani in Thailand's north-east, and the homesickness turned into a kosher Thai kitchen on Oscar Schindler Street in Haifa, with a sushi bar, JA-PAN, working alongside it. The recipes stay close to the source: som tam with sticky rice, larb gai, crisp po pia rolls, nam tok neua with seared entrecote, tom kha gai rich with coconut, pad kaphrao and panang curry. A lunchtime set menu runs through the week. Diners talk about the heat being real and the balance being right. Genuinely Thai, and kosher, which is rarer than it should be.
